You’ve enrolled for JobKeeper – what do you need to do now to receive the payment?
As part of the JobKeeper Payment obligation, employers are required to identify and report eligible employees on a monthly basis to the ATO. And this must be done every month in order to receive the payment.
Employers are also required to report income on a monthly basis (actual income for last month and projected income for the current month). The monthly report is required by the 7th day of the following month, except for April which has been extended until end of May.
Finally, employers must ensure all the eligible employees are paid the minimum $1,500 per fortnight [before tax] per JobKeeper fortnight that you’re claiming.

How to lodge your monthly JobKeeper Declaration to receive your JobKeeper Payment
1. Each month, you will need to reconfirm that your reported eligible employees have not changed through your Business Portal or via your registered tax agent (NCA).
This will ensure you will continue to receive the JobKeeper Payments. You do not need to retest your reported fall in turnover, but you will need to provide some information as to your current and projected turnover. This is done in your monthly JobKeeper Declaration report, which is required by the 7th day of the following month, except for April which has been extended until end of May.
2. If your eligible employees change or leave your employment, you will need to notify the ATO through your monthly JobKeeper Declaration report.
3. You must ensure all the eligible employees are paid the minimum $1,500 per fortnight [before tax] per JobKeeper fortnight that you’re claiming.
You can lodge your JobKeeper Declaration report using your ATO Business Portal or NCA can do this for you.
